Suisun City declared a state of emergency Saturday after a cyberattack struck critical public safety operations, including its 911 dispatch system, according to city officials.
Malicious software infected and compromised the city’s information technology systems around 5:45 a.m. Friday, prompting the city to shut down its entire network “to contain the threat and preserve evidence for a federal investigation,” officials said.
