(KRON) — A 19-year-old Pleasanton man was arrested last week after authorities said he was connected to dozens of commercial burglaries in the Bay Area, the San Ramon Police Department announced Tuesday.
The numerous commercial burglaries occurred in the counties of Contra Costa, Alameda and Santa Clara. The Pleasanton Police Department said the suspect, Juan Luis Valdez-Luevano, committed a series of those burglaries in its city on Sept. 10.
On Sept. 16, Valdez-Luevano was taken into custody at the Alameda County Probation Office in Dublin before he met with his probation officer. Search warrants served at his Pleasanton residence and his vehicle uncovered evidence related to the burglaries, according to police.
