(KRON) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near Richmond High School Thursday morning, police said. The Richmond Police Department told KRON4 that the crash occurred near the intersection of Maricopa Avenue and 23rd Street.
Police told KRON4 they got the call just before 6:30 a.m.

Richmond PD officers arrived on the scene and found a victim with severe trauma from the collision. The victim, police said, was pronounced dead at the scene.
