SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — On Thursday, news broke that Starbucks planned to shutter 250 underperforming stores across North America. It’s the second big round of store closures under current Starbucks Chairman and CEO Brian Niccol, who joined the company in 2024.

Last September, the Seattle-based coffee chain closed 627 stores in North America and Europe.
Now, it appears as if at least 13 of the most recent closures are set to impact Starbucks locations in the Bay Area.
These are the Bay Area Starbucks locations that look set to close, according to the Starbucks online store locator.
