San Francisco’s annual Flight Week is back, and the skies are ready for next month’s air show.
The week-long event has been a San Francisco staple since 1981, bringing the United States Navy to the Bay to celebrate and honor the men and women who serve this country. Folks can watch the iconic Parade of Ships make its way through the Bay, keep their eyes on the skies for the air show, or take part in other free events and shows throughout the week.
And yes, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels are set to return for this year’s air show, after missing last year’s show. Due to the government shutdown, the Blue Angels were grounded, and the U.S. military did not participate in the event.
When is San Francisco’s 2026 Fleet Week?
San Francisco’s Fleet Week takes place alongside Italian Heritage Weekend. This year’s event is set for Oct. 4 to Oct. 12; however, events are scheduled to start happening on Oct. 6…
