Self-flying plane landing in Concord after cross-country flight

(KRON) — If you live or work in San Francisco, seeing a car roll by without a driver has become mundane. Waymo’s self-driving artificial intelligence-powered cars do not seem to attract curious onlookers snapping photographs like they used to. But what about a self-flying plane?

On Friday, an aircraft equipped with autonomy technology will land in Concord, completing a round-trip journey that included the first-ever autonomous flight across the United States, Joby Aviation announced.
