OAKLAND — Costco expects to hire about 400 people at its new West Oakland location, documents on file at City Hall show.
The 166,800-square-foot warehouse store would sit at the corner of West Grand Avenue and Wake Avenue on a section of an old U.S. Army base once completed. The site also is expected to include a fuel station and 947 parking spaces, according to city planning files.
The store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, records show…
