1 person injured, 2 units displaced in Oakland fire

( KRON ) – Two apartment units were displaced and one person suffered minor injuries in an apartment fire on Saturday, the Oakland Fire Department announced Sunday.

Saturday morning, downtown Oakland Fire Department crews responded to a fire in an apartment of a five-story building in the 1700 block of Broadway. One resident was treated by medical emergency personnel for a minor injury.

According to OFD, residents from two units were displaced but declined support from the Red Cross.
