Lawlessness in California: Wild Sideshow Takes Over Bay Bridge, Involving 100 Vehicles

Early Sunday morning, a large and dangerous sideshow involving approximately 100 vehicles took over a section of the Bay Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The sideshow occurred around 3:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80, just east of Treasure Island.

A viral video circulating online captures part of the event, showing a red truck spinning in circles before hitting a person as spectators stood atop their vehicles. The extent of the injuries sustained by the person hit by the truck remains unclear.

As law enforcement arrived at the scene, the crowd quickly dispersed, CHP reported.

Sideshows—unauthorized car stunts that often involve reckless driving and large crowds—have become a growing concern in the Bay Area, with authorities urging people to avoid participating in or attending these dangerous events.
