Hilton San Francisco to Reopen Iconic Cityscape Sky Bar, the Tallest Bar in the city

The Hilton San Francisco Union Square is excited to announce the grand reopening of its iconic sky bar, Cityscape, on Sunday, September 15, 2024. Located on the 46th floor of the hotel, Cityscape offers breathtaking 360-degree views, making it San Francisco’s tallest bar. The newly redesigned space merges the city’s timeless beauty with the mysteries of the cosmos, unveiling mid-century modern artwork from the hotel’s opening in 1964.

The bar now showcases “Celestial Sisters,” a series of artwork panels originally created for the historic Fox Theater. Rediscovered and restored, these pieces add a touch of history and mythology to Cityscape’s celestial-inspired atmosphere. The renovation was led by local designer Edward Perotti and Hilton’s marketing director, Nick Graham-Wells.

In celebration, Cityscape has introduced a new “Cocktails of the Cosmos” menu, featuring drinks inspired by the night sky goddesses, including Selena, Astraea, and Aurora. Guests can also enjoy a special Cityscape Weekend Escape package, which includes a skyline view room and a $50 credit to spend at the bar.
