The four largest collectors of “Star Wars” memorabilia are collaborating to create an exciting new museum experience for fans. They are hoping that it will end up in San Francisco.

“The Saga Museum of Star Wars Memorabilia will be the world’s largest collection of Star Wars memorabilia,” said David Perry, CEO and Founder of David Perry & Associates. “Over a million items from the Star Wars universe. Not only things that fans have collected, but priceless, one-of-a-kind icons from all the films from Star Wars, all the things that George Lucas created in his universe. It will be, arguably, from the day one, one of the most popular museums in the world.”

The collectors are in the early stages of selecting a location, with cities like Las Vegas and Los Angeles on their radar. However, they believe San Francisco is the ideal choice, as George Lucas hails from the Bay Area and found inspiration in local sights like the giant cranes at the Port of Oakland, Muir Woods, and the Marin County Civic Center.
