A San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputy, freshly graduated from Field Training, made a noteworthy arrest during what began as a routine traffic stop last Friday night in Half Moon Bay. According to the sheriff’s office report, the deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation shortly before midnight. Upon further investigation, the officer discovered that the driver, identified as 52-year-old Jason R. Quiros of El Granada, was wanted on multiple warrants.
