(KRON) – The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 2.8 magnitude earthquake stuck near Castro Valley on Sunday morning.

The quake occurred at 11:04 a.m. According to the USGS, the earthquake was 1.3 miles northwest of Castro Valley.
