LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA – Violent robbers, armed with sledgehammers and pepper spray, reportedly attacked a store in Lafayette, California, on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Lafayette Police Department, at approximately 1:39 PM on Saturday afternoon, police received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at a Lafayette store.
The Lafayette police said only that the store was in the 1000 block of Oak Hill Road, but reporting from News 24/680 indicated that the store was Divine Consign.
According to the police department, the suspects were armed with pepper spray and sledgehammers. Upon entering the business, they pepper sprayed customers and employees, and then “used a hammer to break a display case.”…
