19-year-old faces life in prison for Oakland robbery shooting: DA

( KRON ) — The Alameda County District Attorney’s Office said multiple felony charges have been filed against two men tied to a robbery where the victim was shot three times.

The incident happened on April 2 in the Montclair District of Oakland.

The DA’s office said Kelvin Davis, 19, is charged with robbery, assault with a firearm causing great bodily injury, possession of a machine gun, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and possession of a stolen vehicle. Davis has a prior strike for another robbery and faces more than 40 years to life if convicted.

Keyjuanne McGhee, 21, is charged with robbery, being armed with a firearm in the course of a robbery, possession of a machine gun, and possession of a stolen vehicle. McGhee faces over seven years in prison if convicted…
