( KRON ) – A loaded firearm and various illegal drugs were found in an Oakland traffic stop last week, said authorities.
The California Highway Patrol Safe Streets Task Force officers noticed a license plateless gray Pontiac Grand Prix near International Boulevard and 64th Avenue around 10 p.m. on April 11. CHP officers pulled over the sedan, which had two occupants.
The driver, according to CHP, was on active parole for assault with a deadly weapon. According to authorities, he also had “multiple different types of illegal narcotics” on his person.
