WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) – Friday was not Mother’s Day. But it was Mother’s Day on May 9, 2010, the day that Dallas Braden threw a perfect game for the Oakland A’s.
It was exactly 15 years ago.
“It’s a day that I’ve really tried to absorb in its totality as opposed to just maybe some of the details,” said Braden, now an A’s broadcaster. “And as I continue to get older and lose my hair on my head and the hair on my face gets grayer, I will, I’m sure, make peace with some of the things that I don’t remember.
