A long-time drama teacher at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco filed a lawsuit against the elite school claiming he was wrongfully terminated for helping with an investigation into sexual abuse allegations against another teacher.
Ted Curry told the Chronicle he was fired in February from his post as drama director and fine arts teacher at the Catholic high school where he worked for nearly 25 years. His lawsuit, filed in San Francisco Superior Court last week, claims that St. Ignatius dismissed him from his faculty position in retaliation for his participation in a sexual abuse investigation.
