Man accused of stealing nearly $8,000 from S.F. Target across dozens of thefts

A 51-year-old man is facing charges of grand theft and commercial burglary after shoplifting nearly $8,000 in merchandise from Target, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said.

Neil Peck is accused of stealing nearly $1,400 in toothpaste, razors, medication, hair appliances, women’s pants and gum from the Target store on Mission Street, the district attorney’s office said Thursday.

Peck was arrested in the retail theft, and an investigation uncovered that he was the suspect in “dozens of other thefts from the same store,” prosecutors said…
