(KRON) — A man was arrested and their motorcycle was impounded following a high-speed chase with a California Highway Patrol officer across the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge earlier this week.
The chase began when a tailing California Highway Patrol officer allegedly saw a motorcycle pop a wheelie across multiple lanes of traffic and between moving vehicles on the eastbound side of the Bay Bridge.
“[The officer] pulled up behind the motorcycle and activated the patrol motorcycle’s emergency red and blue lights along with the siren,” CHP said. “The motorcyclist looked back and waved towards [the officer] to ‘come and get me,’ before rapidly accelerating away.”
