Police in San Leandro arrested a man suspected in the shooting death of a man walking his dog in June, the department said Tuesday.
On June 14 just before 8:30 a.m., officers discovered an unresponsive man on the ground by Euclid Avenue and East 14th Street. The man, Ryan Christie, 47, was found with his dog’s leash in his hand and was pronounced dead by medical personnel. The dog wasn’t injured, police said.
