(KRON) — A cat named Nahmi has been stuck at the top of a tree in Oakland for five days, according to the pet’s owner.
The cat climbed up the 40-foot-tall palm tree because it was frightened by a loud noise on July 3. It stayed in the tree through Fourth of July celebrations, and apparently remained stuck as of Wednesday.
“She has been up there for about 5 days now and unfortunately, local fire departments here in Oakland do not provide cat rescues, nor do local animal control or shelters,” Nahmi’s owner wrote on a verified GoFundMe Page…
