Berkeley man charged with hit-and-run of father, child

A Berkeley man with a long history of DUIs drove away after hitting a father with his 5-year-old daughter in a crosswalk last month, according to court papers.

This week, he was charged with a new felony case after Berkeley police arrested him at his home.
