Oakland tent blaze burns 1, probed as arson

(KRON) — One person was hospitalized after suffering burns in a tent fire on Monday night that is now suspected as arson, said the Oakland Police Department.

Alameda street reopens in ‘suspicious’ item investigation

OPD said its officers arrived in the 4300 block of East 12th Street around 11:15 p.m. to investigate the report of a possible arson.

The Oakland Fire Department showed up at the scene to help extinguish the blaze. OPD confirmed that the injured individual was last listed in critical but stable condition.
