(KRON) — The suspect in a freeway shooting that unfolded Wednesday in Oakland was later arrested by the California Highway Patrol in Solano County, according to authorities.
CHP officers spotted a white Chrysler Crossfire speeding and driving erratically on Interstate 80 near Midway Road in Solano County and initiated a high-risk stop. As the vehicle came to a stop, CHP said the driver was seen throwing items from the vehicle.
A search of the area uncovered three high-capacity magazines and a Glock pistol, authorities said.
