Tracking every ICE action in San Francisco so far

Since late May, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers have arrested at least 40 immigrants in San Francisco.

People were picked up at ICE’s downtown field office at 630 Sansome St. and the San Francisco Immigration Court at 100 Montgomery St., and sent to detention facilities as far away as Texas and Arizona. Most had gone to ICE voluntarily, showing up at impromptu check-ins or court appearances, and were arrested on the spot.

On June 5, more than 15 people were arrested at the ICE office. Those taken include members of three families and at least four children, one of whom was 3 years old. That same week, a 39-year-old mother of two was arrested at her check-in with ICE and, within 36 hours, flown to an Arizona detention center and separated from her husband and children…
