Judge denies convicted former East Bay officer ‘s request to clear parole

A convicted former East Bay law enforcement officer on Thursday lost his bid for an early parole release.

Andrew Hall, a former Danville police officer, shot and killed Laudemer Arboleda during a slow-speed chase in 2018. Hall was sentenced to six years in state prison in March 2022 for assault with a firearm in the killing of an unarmed motorist.
