Passenger killed, driver severely injured in S.F. crash

A man was killed and a woman severely injured Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 280 in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Speed was thought to have been a factor in the crash near the Cesar Chavez exit, and neither occupant was wearing a seat belt, CHP spokesperson Mark Andrews told the Chronicle.
