$2 million lottery ticket sold at Bay Area corner store

A Redwood City corner store that has been a neighborhood fixture for two decades sold its first multimillion-dollar lottery ticket this week.

Roosevelt Liquor & Grocery, on the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and El Camino Real, sold a Scratchers ticket worth $2 million, the California Lottery announced Thursday.
