DEA detains several in San Francisco fentanyl probe on 10th Street

Federal agents detained several individuals as part of a narcotics investigation on 10th Street on Thursday morning, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s San Francisco Division.

A DEA spokesperson said that agents executed a search warrant at an address between Folsom and Sheridan streets, looking to bust a reported fentanyl distribution operation. The agents then turned over the arrestees into ICE custody, the spokesperson said, but they did not confirm the number of arrests made.

An employee from one of the businesses on the street, who declined to give his name, told the Chronicle that he spotted agents pulling up in cars at around 7 a.m…
