San Francisco police said they found “no merit” to a report of a large group of juveniles robbing and vandalizing the Stonestown Galleria’s Target store Sunday night after responding to requests for assistance.
Shortly before 8 p.m., the San Francisco Police Department responded to reports that a group of about 20 juveniles was throwing items on the floor and fleeing the store with more merchandise as staff attempted to intervene, according to police dispatch audio.
After arriving on the scene, however, officers said they found “no merit to vandalism nor theft” and escorted the youths from the store. No arrests were made, police said…
