(KRON) – Two people were killed and several others were injured after a series of shootings in Oakland early Saturday morning, according to the Oakland Police Department.
OPD was alerted to a shooting in the 1900 block of Broadway at around 2:15 a.m. Police said paramedic personnel took the victim to a local hospital, where the victim is in critical condition.
Just after 3 a.m., OPD received a ShotSpotter activation in the 1700 block of San Pablo Avenue, and shortly after, the department received calls regarding a person shot.
