Oakland police are investigating a pair of shootings from earlier this week that sent two people to the hospital, police said Wednesday.
The first was just before 10:30 p.m. Monday on the 1600 block of 3rd Avenue where officers found a man with what appeared to be at least one gunshot wound. Officers provided first aid until paramedics took the victim to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
