India Basin shooting: S.F. police say more people struck by gunfire than originally reported

Two additional people were struck by gunfire in a Tuesday night shooting that rattled the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood in San Francisco, according to police, bringing the total number of victims up to six.

Police spokesperson officer Robert Rueca confirmed Wednesday morning that six people suffered gunshot wounds during the shooting, which happened at 5:48 p.m. on the 1500 block of Burke Avenue. Police originally said four people were shot.
