(KRON) — Police in Walnut Creek are investigating a double homicide after officers found two women deceased inside a home Thursday night.
According to the Walnut Creek Police Department, the homicides occurred around 11:44 p.m. on Kelobra Court, which is located just north of Ygnacio Valley Road on the city’s east side. Responding officers located the two women already deceased upon arrival.
Another adult who was inside the home when officers arrived is being interviewed by authorities as a person of interest, according to Walnut Creek PD Lieutenant Scott Moorhouse. Police also found two young children in the home.
“At this time, there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the community,” police said.
