According to SFGATE, a concept that recently opened in West Oakland, Hyphy Burger, plans to expand to East Oakland.
“I didn’t see [this] coming,” the concept’s co-owner, Darion Frazier, tells the Journal. He adds, “It took us three years to get here because we went through so many trials and tribulations through the city. … We thought it’d probably take forever for us to get another one. But as soon as we had things down pat, it was kind of like copy and paste.”
Coming to 825 International Boulevard, taking over a space formerly home to KFC, the restaurant will land near establishments such as the Vietnamese fare restaurant Lemon Pepper, the Yemeni cuisine concept Sheba, and the Vietnamese food eatery Phở Ao Sen Restaurant.
