7 Arrests As Concord Police Make Shoplifting “Blitz” Operation at Local Store

CONCORD, CALIFORNIA – The Concord Police Department said a recent “blitz” operation at a single store led to seven arrests as officers responded to a rise in thefts and calls for service at the location.

According to a department statement posted Sept. 30, the Financial Crimes Unit, working with the Special Enforcement Team and store loss-prevention staff, conducted the targeted operation. Police reported four felony arrests and three misdemeanor arrests.
