On the night of Thursday, Oct. 9, internet personality Joshua Block, also known by his online handle “worldoftshirts,” was struck in the face during an altercation outside of Cali’s Sports Bar & Kitchen on Telegraph Avenue after shouting, “I hate immigrants.” The incident sparked a chaotic series of events, in which Block appeared to attempt to attack someone and allegedly bit a woman, who said she will file charges against Block.
Block is a social media content creator with more than four million followers on TikTok. He is known for his spontaneous daily posts, as well as various controversies associated with widespread fame, including incidents involving alcohol,other physical disputes and alleged usage of racial slurs. Block has also said he is autistic.
While outside Cali’s Sports Bar & Kitchen at 2 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, following a scheduled event for college students inside the bar’s basement, Block was seen on video getting into a physical altercation with an individual.
