Bob’s Donuts will close its original location at 1621 Polk St. in San Francisco after 70 years of operation. The business will move to a larger space at 1720 Polk St. on November 23, 2025. The shop was established in the 1950s by its founder, Bob. It later became a family-run business managed by Elinor, a Korean immigrant, and then by her son Don and his wife Aya, a Japanese immigrant.
The owners thanked their customers for their support as they announced the relocation. They invited customers to visit the new location, which will continue to offer the same products a few blocks from the original site…
