The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is currently on the hunt for information about a serious incident that transpired earlier this year in Alameda. A USPS letter carrier was the victim of a robbery on May 13, at around 7:00 p.m. near 2236 Lincoln Avenue. In the hopes of catching the individuals responsible, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service has announced a considerable reward—up to $150,000—for details that could lead to an arrest and conviction.
Details of the suspects have been sparse, but officials have managed to provide a brief description of one suspect, a Hispanic male believed to be around 30 years old with braided hair and of average build, standing about 5’6”. His accomplice, a Black male of a heavy build wearing a white shirt, is said to have acted as the getaway driver. The culprits were last seen escaping the scene in a light brown Nissan.
