San Francisco Teen Arrested in Colma for Possession of Loaded Firearm During Traffic Stop

A recent traffic stop in Colma has swiftly escalated into a felony incident, resulting in the arrest of an 18-year-old San Francisco resident. According to a social media post by the Colma Police Department, during a routine traffic enforcement at Hillside Boulevard and F Street on Monday, an officer spotted a grey Audi with illegally tinted front windows and an expired registration from October 2024, despite displaying a 2025 registration sticker.

The Colma officer pulled the vehicle over in the parking lot of Lucky Chances Casino, where it was discovered that the male driver was on searchable probation. A subsequent probation search led to the discovery of a loaded firearm in the male passenger’s waistband, identified as Carlos Esparazasanchez. Upon his arrest, Esparazasanchez began to resist physically; however, officers were able to detain him without further incident…
