BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Pepper, an indoor cat from Boise, Idaho, went missing in early October after bolting out of her home. In mid-November, she was discovered wandering in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood and taken to Animal Care & Control.
A microchip scan revealed her identity, linking her to a Boise family. The couple who found Pepper were baffled by her journey to San Francisco. Pepper’s owners drove overnight to reclaim her, and the reunion was filled with joy. “She let out this huge, like, you know, like, oh my God, it’s you, Daddy, you came and got me.
