On December 2, 2025, San Francisco Police responded to a shooting at a school on the 400 block of Mansell Street. Officers found a juvenile male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. They gave first aid, and paramedics took him to a local hospital. The suspect, also a juvenile male, left the scene but was later arrested on the 1400 block of Shafter Avenue by the Crime Gun Investigations Center.
Police recovered a firearm during the arrest. Charges are pending as the investigation continues. Police say the incident appears to be isolated.
