A man was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving after a pursuit Saturday afternoon in San Mateo County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers responded to a report of a reckless driver in a black Acura on Highway 1 near Highway 84 around 5 p.m., the CHP said. Officers tried to stop the vehicle on Highway 1 near Verde Road, but the driver fled.
Officers coordinated with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office to contain the northbound vehicle, which they were able to stop near Triple D Ranch, the CHP said. An officer discharged a round during the incident, but no injuries were reported…
