A 34-year-old man charged with murder in the stabbing of a social worker at a San Francisco hospital was ordered Friday to remain in jail without bail.
Wilfredo Tortolero-Arriechi did not enter a plea during his first court hearing. A hearing for him to do so was set for Jan. 7.
