Police arrest animal cruelty suspect in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police responded to a report of a person assaulting a dog Monday at approximately 11 a.m.

Officers arrived at the 400 block of China Basin Street and located a male matching the suspect description who was in possession of a deceased dog, according to SFPD.

Officers detained the man while they conducted an investigation. SFPD reported that witnesses provided enough information to develop probable cause to arrest the suspect.
