(KRON) — A boxing club in Oakland that has trained thousands of fighters was heavily damaged when a stolen car slammed into the club’s building and the driver fled the scene, according to a verified GoFundMe page.
Lightning’s Boxing Club, operated by former professional boxer Kris “Lightning” Lopez, provides youth with an inspirational place to “learn, grow, and thrive,” the gym’s website writes.
