SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A large police presence temporarily shut down San Francisco’s Embarcadero Monday afternoon. The San Francisco Police Department confirmed it responded to an armed individual who is threatening harm to themselves.
As of shortly before 2 p.m., SFPD said the situation had been resolved. Emergency crews remained on the scene with residual traffic and delays expected, according to the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management.
