An East Bay man accused of killing his elderly parents died Thursday in a Contra Costa County jail after repeatedly striking his head against the wall of his cell, authorities said.
The man, identified by the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office as Kirk Richardson, 61, of Concord, was found unconscious inside his cell at the Martinez Detention Facility late Thursday afternoon.
