Firefighters on Sunday attacked a fire in East Oakland that impacted multiple units, the department said.
Just before 6 p.m., multiple calls came in reporting a blaze in a single-story building in the 9600 block of C Street by Elmhurst Avenue in East Oakland. The main fire was in 9607 C St., but ultimately the fire reached more than one unit in the area.
Crews had the fire contained to the structure by 6:05, the Fire Department said. A search and rescue operation of the building yielded no persons, but one patient was treated for breathing problems…
